Yesterday was the end of my time as Town Treasurer. Many things have changed over the years. Tax programs & dog licensing software, the old 1900’s Town hall to the new building we moved into a few years ago, and so on.

I treasure the lifelong friendships made with past and current board members.

When I gave my notice back in early December my intention was to contemplate retirement, or at least slow down a bit. As you all know- life can throw curveballs, bad curveballs!

Welcome Raylene who is stepping into the position. Be patient with her as she learns the ropes.

I thank all the residents of Wood River Township for trusting me to do this job for the past 14 years. It’s been a good run.

Get your dog license paperwork & payments in this weekend to avoid late fees. $5 per dog late fee is added after April 1st.

Remember to get your dog licensed soon! After April 1st there is a $5.00 late fee (per dog)

Today is the LAST day that the treasurer can receive property tax payments. If you are a procrastinator and haven’t paid yet….leave your payment 💰 in the secure drop box. After today you need to contact/pay the County and they will tack on interest 💵
