REMINDER: CONSTRUCTION BEGINS TODAY. NIMITZ E. SAGE TO CLOVIS. OPEN TO LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY. ALL OTHERS PLEASE SEEK ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧
Beginning February 16, 2026, Nimitz Avenue will be closed to through traffic from E. Sage to Clovis due to road construction activities.
Estimated construction timeline 180 calendar days.

🚫 Access will be restricted to local residents
🚑 Emergency vehicle access will be maintained

➡️ Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and plan accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these roadway improvements are completed.

Dump Coupons are available at the Special Projects Office at 551 Washington Ave. Monday - Thursday 7AM to 5PM. City of Grants residents are eligible to receive one (1) coupon per household, per month with picture ID and current utility bill through April 2026 (while supplies last) For information, please call 505-2877-7927 ext 2321 or email [email protected].

If you can’t make it, take pride in cleaning your own yard or neighborhood. 💪

✔️ Trash bags available at 8 AM at the Amphitheater
✔️ Trash containers at the Grants Police Station (105 E. Roosevelt Ave.) — available Friday, October 10th in the afternoon and picked up Saturday, October 11th before noon

✔️ Dump coupons available on cleanup day (bring your most recent utility bill & ID)
❌ No oil, paint, flammables, or tires in dumpsters

🚧🚷Washington Ave is closed to through traffic and is accessible only to local residents and school personnel.🏡

🚫‼️🛑Smith St is completely closed to all foot and vehicle traffic.

🚗👫Student drop-off and pick-up will continue to take place on Davis St and Truman Ave only.
