We're thrilled to announce that most of the paving was completed today at Parker's Place Village!

A lot of exciting things happened today as the project continues to move forward.

We were also pleased to have City Councilor Indra Nicholas stop by and check out the progress. Thanks, Indra, for grabbing a shovel and pitching in!

The paving marks another major milestone, and it's exciting to see so many pieces coming together. Every day brings visible progress, and Parker's Place Village is really starting to take shape.

We're looking forward to opening doors as a low-barrier shelter option for our unhoused neighbors in Josephine County.

Parker's Place Village page has reached 1,000 followers!

Started on December 3, 2025 by Sammie McClure-Nolan, the Parker's Place Village page was created to communicate with the community as part of our ongoing outreach effort to help inform the public about what is happening at The Village!

Now, before even reaching the six-month anniversary of the page, we have already hit 1,000 followers!

Thank you for noticing us, following us, and believing that real change is possible for the Grants Pass, Oregon community. We believe the truly great things are still ahead as we work with community members, build trust, and help change lives through our SAFE BEDS FIRST policy approach being launched in Grants Pass, following upand expanding on our SAFE CAMPS FIRST model in Roseburg, Oregon.

Thanks again to the City of Grants Pass City Council for choosing us for this monumental purpose of helping make a difference in the community! The project overall design has changed a bit, but the purpose has stayed the same get people to a safe bed first then work with them on the next steps they need in their personal journey in life!
