Fire Defensible Spaces are zones around a home where fuel sources are removed, reducing the risk of a wildfire being carried to the home and igniting it. Close to the house, remove leaf litter and objects that can ignite easily. In your yard, keep the grass short, space out shrubs, and don’t allow tall trees to grow. Further from the house, keep trees spaced apart and isolate large fuel sources from other potential fire hazards. You can learn more about Fire Defensible Spaces here: https://loom.ly/7kEK6ys
