Scam Reminder:

We are continuing to receive numerous reports of scammers posing as one of our Deputies demanding payment for various things that they are claiming citizens have done or haven't done for that matter.

Another common one we hear about is scammers using the inmate search feature in our app and on our website to contact family members, falsely claiming they can help release loved ones for a fee. DO NOT SEND MONEY OR SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION! Verify any claims with official sources.

We would like to remind everyone that Law Enforcement does NOT conduct business in this fashion. We will never call and demand payment over the phone, with gift cards or through cryptocurrency kiosks. Please remember this, regardless of what the person on the phone tells you. Hang up the phone.
