Nearly 900 Roy Dawson signs have now been placed by supporters on private properties across Wayne, Lenoir, and Greene Counties.

That number is exciting, but what means the most is knowing there is a person, family, or local business behind every one of them who has chosen to publicly support this campaign.

To everyone who has welcomed a sign onto your property, thank you. Seeing them throughout all three counties is a powerful reminder of just how much this campaign has grown and how many people are standing with us.

We still have plenty of work ahead, and we are incredibly grateful not to be doing it alone.

Today brought church, work, and putting out a few big signs before the weekend is over.

Yesterday, we enjoyed stopping by a community event in Goldsboro and the Stonington Farms Music Festival in Kinston. These days are full, but we’re grateful to spend them together and thankful for all the good people we continue to meet along the way!

A few minutes, a lot of donuts, and a chance to say thank you.

I enjoyed visiting schools throughout Lenoir County this week alongside so many community leaders. We had the opportunity to thank the teachers and staff who pour so much into our children, and to pray together for our schools and students.

Really enjoyed spending time this week with the Greater Pikeville Improvement Committee and learning more about all they’re doing for Pikeville.

So much of it is made possible by people who are willing to give their time, energy, and ideas to make their community better. From events to improvement projects, that kind of commitment is inspiring to see.

We were also glad to be there with Rep. John Bell as GPIC received a $75,000 state appropriation to help support future projects in the community.
