PLEASE NOTE:
On Monday • May 4th • 2026 • 6:30 p.m., the next regular meeting of the Grant Park Village Board will be held at the Community Park Building, 209 W Dixie HWY. We expect increased public attendance for the installation of our new police chief, Albert Castillo. We hope to see you there!
Future Meetings: Following this session, regularly scheduled board meetings will resume at the Village Hall.

Grant Park Chamber of Commerce annual golf outing is happening on the first Saturday in May at the Cardinal Creek golf course in Beecher. All funds raised support the chamber's scholarship program that benefits students at Grant Park Schools.

As you know yesterday our area was hit with a severe storm, our village was spared but neighboring communities were not. The village will be reaching out to lend assistance if called upon and information will be provided as communities contact us if help is needed. We received a emergency declaration late last night and the village is ready to assist.

Attending tonight's Grant Park Village board meeting were Jenny Schoenwetter, CEO of Harbor House and John Fitts, Harbor House Board President. Grant Park Community Outreach Trustee Jodi Wackerlin and Financial Trustee Gerry Morgan presented a donation from the Village of Grant Park to Harbor House - Kankakee County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
