T-minus 2 days until we move back into the Recreation Center!

We are so excited to be returning to our home base! As we get settled into the new building and learn our way around all the entrances, please enter through the front doors facing Jefferson Davis Hwy.

Under the Sea Week:
Monday – Sea Creature Day 🐙
Wear sea-inspired colors: blue, teal, purple, and other ocean hues.

Tuesday – Tropical Fish Day 🐠
Wear your brightest neon colors!

Wednesday – Shipwreck Wednesday ⚓
Get creative with mismatched socks, inside-out shirts, tattered clothing, or crazy hair.

Thursday – Tropical Character Day 🏝️
Dress as your favorite island or sea character, or wear a T-shirt featuring them.

Friday – Aloha Friday 🌺
Wear tropical shirts, leis, or your favorite Hawaiian-inspired attire.

Day 2️⃣ of 2️⃣9️⃣: Busy Tuesday at Summer Camp! ☀️

We had an exciting day exploring all that Langley Pond has to offer! The pond is full of life, and today our campers discovered freshwater shrimp, minnows, tadpoles, and even a water scorpion 🦐🐸🐟

A special thank you to Mr. Brightbill from the local Adopt-a-Stream program for stopping by and helping us identify and learn about the amazing creatures living in the pond.

We were also thrilled to welcome our special furry guest, Sydney, who made plenty of new friends 🐶

And with temperatures soaring, it was definitely hot enough for some fun on the water slide!

Fish tails. UNO. A lizard. Oh my!

We had a fantastic first day of camp filled with fun, laughter, and a few unexpected adventures. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

📢 Reminder for tomorrow: Please send your camper with swim clothes and a towel 🩱🩳We plan to cool off with some slip-and-slide fun!

Summer Camp EVE!

We can’t wait to see your little ones tomorrow!
When I spoke with everyone, I mentioned that you should look for blue flags. Unfortunately, our blue flags would not arrive in time, so please look for a green flag instead. The green flag will be marked "ENTRANCE."🟢🟩

The summer lunch program will be available starting tomorrow. I am still waiting on the menu and will update this post or add the information in the comments as soon as I receive it.

Camp payments may be made by:
Cash (please bring the exact amount)
Check made payable to Aiken County

Concessions will not be available until we move into the Rec Center, so there is no need to send extra money with your children at this time.
