Earlier today, Granite Deputies learned of the whereabouts of a wanted person. Due to their propensity to eluding the police, a SWAT consult was given. Region One SWAT responded with on duty officers and Deputies and served a search warrant on the property the suspect was residing.
The suspect was contacted and arrested. No one was hurt in this operation and the suspect is in custody.
Thank you for the publics patience in the area.
Chief Dalton

We are out in force conducting traffic enforcement today. The weather is beautiful, so don’t let us mess up your day.
Watch your speed, don’t turn out of Monte Cristo incorrectly and stay off those cell phones.
I hope you don’t meet us today.
