LAND USE PERMITS REQUIRED IN YELLOW MEDICINE COUNTY!
Before erecting, altering (including additions), or relocating any building or structure, you must first obtain a land use permit from the Yellow Medicine County Land and Resource Management Office located in Clarkfield. A permit is also required to rebuild damaged structures. Yellow Medicine County does NOT require land use permits for shingling, siding, or replacing windows.

Plan ahead and obtain your land use permit PRIOR to the actual day you want to begin construction.

Also, any alteration or installation of sewage treatment systems requires a septic permit.

We have set up the Hidden in Plain Sight tent in the Justice Center lobby. The display will be open to the public (18+) from Monday, December 15 – Friday, December 19th from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. This is a tool for parents to use and learn about how kids may be hiding different things that parents would not want them to have.
