I had a blast working with the Chamber of Commerce over the last 6 weeks to organize the Granite Falls Show and Shine car show! Despite the "liquid sunshine", we ended up with 113 cars on display and everyone there had a blast! Additionally, we had more than 20 vendors who were able to put up shop and showcase their products. I look forward to working on the next show. Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 6th, 2022 for the 41st Annual Granite Falls Show and Shine!

Thanks everyone for the support! The initial results are in and show me winning the primary with 51% of the votes cast out of three candidates. I am very humbled and look forward to the general election in November!

I moved to Granite Falls in Feb, 2019 from Lake Stevens after living there since 2015. Prior to that I was in the Navy for 30 years and was stationed at Bremerton for 10 years and San Diego for the rest of that time. I am from Spokane originally and landed here when I retired from the Navy.

This is a non-partisan position but I consider myself to be a moderate conservative. I believe in smaller government and fiscal responsibility. I support small business and believe in allowing them the room to grow and thrive.

I love the small town feel here in Granite Falls and the surrounding beauty of the trails and forests surrounding us. I want to maintain that small town feel and would like to see our downtown area alive with local small businesses who attract the many visitors travelling through who will bring increased revenue to our community.

We will continue to grow but I do not want to see the high density growth here that is happening elsewhere. I want a better controlled approach and prevent stacking houses on top of each other.

I have a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management and a Masters in Business Administration and over the last 12 years of my Navy career was in an executive leadership role. I am currently a technical project manager in Fraud Tech at a major US Bank and manage a $50MM annual budget aimed at reducing digital fraud.

I am married for almost 30 years now with four adult children. Two of them are career Army, one is a Trooper with the Washington State Patrol and the other is a pastry chef and yoga instructor.

Happy to answer any specific questions if you have any.

I am running for Granite Falls City Council Position 2 and if elected will work to ensure intelligent growth while maintaining our small town charm. I support small business and believe we have a unique opportunity to enhance and revitalize our downtown to make it a nice place for visitors to come to shop and enjoy our hospitality.
