A busy Primary Election is on the home stretch! Yes, there is STILL a lot going on for the Idaho County Election Team.

We were all here very late last night waiting for results to be reported by our precincts. Hand-counting ballots is an intense, exhausting process. Many, many thanks to all of our polling workers who assist my team in making our elections happen in Idaho’s largest county!

Coming up next--votes are canvassed by the Idaho County Commissioners on Tuesday, after which the results become official. And then, we begin again. The General Election in November will quickly be upon us!

Vote today at your regular polling location from 8 am to 8 pm. Call us if you have any questions! 208-983-2751

The first week of Early Voting is on the books! 190 voters were served.

Also, a Republican Absentee Ballot Request card was mailed by one of the campaigns--not by our office. We will still honor these requests as long as they are signed and the signature verifies. Absentee requests are due by next Friday, May 8!

Please call us if you have any questions. 208-983-2751

PSA from the Idaho County District Court:

The Courts will never text you or call you about past due tickets. This is a scam that keeps popping up. Don't ever click a link or provide payment via a link in a text.

These scams not only alarm those who receive a text, it diverts Court staff from carrying out their other responsibilities.

Thank you!
