Attn:
The Grangeville city police is seeking information about an incident that occurred July 22, 2026 at approximately 7:35 am.
The incident was a loose dog attacking a leashed dog near the intersection of north A & Cunningham.
The dog that attacked the leashed dog was described as a white pitbull.
The owner of the white pitbull is described as a white male, 40's, 5'6", stocky build, brown hair, and was shirtless. The man was driving a midsized red colored SUV, with an Idaho license plate that started with the letter I.
If anyone has any information about who the owner of the pitbull is, please call 208 983 1351.
We would like to speak with him.

Information Release:

Grangeville Police Department is currently investigating reports of two residential burglaries- One occurring in the area of Lincoln Street on 7/11/26 and a second occurring on South C Street on 7/13/26. There have been no reports of attempted or completed robberies, forced home invasions, or contacts with armed suspects.

The Police Department has had an increase in Suspicious Persons/Activities calls during the night. All of these incidents are being actively investigated. We would recommend that residents take precautions to secure their property and report any suspicious activity when they observe it. Anyone with credible information related to the current investigations is asked to contact dispatch at (208)983-1351.
