A few weeks ago, we posted this picture of this boat that went from the house side to the condo side of Porter Lake. No one has claimed this boat. If it is unclaimed by April 15, we will assume whoever owns it no longer wants it, and it will be disposed of. Thank you.

In regards to the Wyoming City Hall Meeting on the 24th of September, the results of EGLE fish sampling show that the fish in Luvis and Porter Lake have PFAS amounts higher than what is safe to eat. Signs will be posted on both lakes as soon as we get them from the city of Grandville.

However, this data is for fish consumption ONLY. The surface lake water values for both Luvis and Porter Lake are well below the danger limits. Swimming and recreational use is completely fine. PFAS is not absorbed through human skin, only by consuming fish.

Porter Lake was tested in May 2023. E-coli was measured and was barely detectable and far below the normal value.

If you would like to see further results on our lake and surrounding lakes, visit egle.maps.argis.com.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 616-292-3277, Rick Saunders.
