Next stop: Grandview Station!

Grandview Station is nearly ready to open, giving farmers market vendors and residents a permanent home for commerce and community events along Main Street.

KSHB 41's Megan Abundis spoke with Chris VanSickle, who oversaw the project. He said the work carries personal meaning for him.

"I did grow up in Grandview, graduated in 1991," VanSickle said.

The City of Grandview Board of Aldermen meeting was filled with recognition Tuesday night! Congratulations to the graduates of 2026 Citizens Academy, who dedicated their time each week to learn more about the City’s departments & daily operations.

We also proudly recognized our DMV Supervisor for an incredible 40 years of service at the DMV. Debbie received a proclamation honoring her years of dedication, along with a special resolution presented on behalf of Representative Ealy recognizing her outstanding service and commitment to the community.

Thank you to everyone who continues to make Grandview a stronger community through service and civic involvement! 👏
