Welcome to the first week of my "Maloney for Jackson County Legislature" video series!

Why am I doing this? Well running for Jackson County office has its hurdles for sure but I want folks to hear directly from me and learn about who I am, what I bring to the table, and why I want to represent you and this is one way to get my message out there.

Each week, until the election on Aug 4th, I will post a new video highlighting my stance on current issues, my political and professional experience and introduce your to new and old friends along the way.

A large part of any campaign is marketing and "getting your name out there". So if you pick up the Martin City Telegraph, you'll see a familiar face this week. But I need your help with my marketing plan.

Believe it or not, social media can be used for GOOD and a free/cheap way to get your message out there and educate folks about who you are and what you stand for.

One BIG and FREE way YOU can help is to "like" and "share" my social media post BUT what I really need is help sharing my John T. Maloney For Jackson County page with the neighbors of Grandview, South Kansas City, and Raytown.

We are currently have just under 800 followers and my goal is to break 1,000 followers by the end of the Memorial Day weekend.

Thank you to everyone who made it out to our campaign kickoff. We had a great time, discussed some important topics but now it's time to get back to work! It's time to help do your part: sign up for a yard sign, host your own small group for me to come visit, and spread the word on the importance of experience in this election. Together we can make Jackson County a place we can all be proud to call home.
