With the current weather situation please avoid travel through water. Lots of major flooding in multiple areas. Turn around don't drown. If you need emergency assistance call 911 immediately. Be safe!

Due to slick conditions and winter weather please stay off the roads. If you absolutely have to get out please be extra careful. Be safe and stay warm.

ATTN: Grandfield Firefighters there will be a pump operations course on Feb. 14th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fort Sill. If you are planning on attending pleases get with Chaz Spradlin. This class will be given by an accredited instructor through OSU. It will cover all the steps and procedures for operating our pump truck.

A safe and happy New Year's to everyone. Please if you plan on celebrating the New Year's with the involvement of alcohol make sure you have a designated driver. Please do not risk it and do not drink and drive. Happy New Year from GVFD!

As we approach 9-11 we ask that everyone take a moment out of your day tomorrow to remember all those who have fallen. Remember the citizens, the firefighters, the law enforcement, the EMS personnel, the military, and all those who lost their lives that day and our military who are still giving their lives today. Next time you pass by one of these heroes please shake their hand and tell them thank you.
