🌿 Introducing the Grand Terrace Community ReSource Yard ♻️
We are excited to officially introduce the City’s Community ReSource Yard located just west of City Hall on Barton Road!
While the site has already been in use, we are now expanding and formalizing the area to better serve residents with dedicated recycling, collection, and material reuse opportunities.
At the Community ReSource Yard, residents will now find:
🍃 A new 40-yard GREEN WASTE collection container made possible through the City’s partnership with Burrtec for:
• Leaves
• Grass clippings
• Branches
• Landscape trimmings
🚫 NO trash or mixed waste allowed in the green waste container.
The site also currently includes:
🌱 Compost
🌳 Mulch
🏖️ Sand
Separately, at City Hall, we continue to offer:
📦 A NEW dedicated cardboard recycling container
🗑️ A trash disposal container for regular waste
Official signage and additional site improvements are still to come, but we are excited to continue building this community resource for Grand Terrace residents.
