GRPS Family and Community Engagement GRPS encourages all parents & family members to be engaged in their scholar's education.

Parent and community involvement play a critical role in the academic growth and achievement of students! Research proves that students and schools that enjoy high levels of parental involvement and community engagement are higher performing. GRPS encourages all parents to be engaged in their child's education and numerous opportunities are available for both parents and community volunteers/organ

izations to get involved. Parent engagement refers to all activities that parents do to help their children succeed in school and life. It includes everything from making sure they are prepared to go to school every day to attending parent meetings and conferences, to volunteering their time and talents to the school and their child’s classroom and to the importance and value of they place on education.
