WHO WE ARE

The Grand Rapids Police Department – in partnership with the Grand Rapids Park & Recs Dept, and the Grand Rapids Chamber – have developed baseball skills clinic program that will take place at three different Grand Rapids Parks. The parks would include MLK Park, Sullivan Field, and Huff Park. Each clinic will be coached by a Grand Rapids police officers along with community partn

ers, as well as other entities. While this program will certainly be teaching a sport of baseball but its not the primary purpose. Rather, the goal is one of mentorship and relationship-building, wherein youth will have meaningful, positive interactions with police officers. SIGNUPS

To register please call Grand Rapids Parks & Recreation at 616-456-3696 or online at https://secure.rec1.com/MI/city-of-grand-rapids/catalog. Click the tab "Youth Sports" and then "Youth Baseball Clinics". It will give you an option to sign up at the park most covenant to you, or you may register for as many as you would like. Our hope is that we will raise enough funds through donations to run the program at no cost to the kids or their families.
