For the individuals and families staying at Safe Haven Ministries' shelter, everyday essentials make a big difference. Donations from the community help provide comfort, care, and stability.

Currently, our shelter is in need of:

We are celebrating 8 families securing housing during this morning’s Key Day! This includes several families who have been working for a long time to achieve stable housing.

Three of these families also partnered with Restored Refuge to have their homes fully furnished.

This milestone also represents 23 children who now have a place to call home. We are grateful for our community partners who helped make this possible. When you support Safe Haven Ministries, you are directly helping change lives.

Each Praxis Fellow brings a unique passion and perspective to this work.

With the support of mentors at Safe Haven Ministries, Praxis Fellows participant, Barb Waalkes is focusing her project on creating stronger support systems for women in the Godfrey Lee neighborhood through mentorship and mom-to-mom connections. Her goal is to foster meaningful relationships, encouragement, and a greater sense of community for women navigating difficult circumstances.
