We hope to see you TOMORROW for our next Friends of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (FODHHS) social, September 15, 2026 from 10am-2pm.

Join us at the Special Olympics Unified Sports and Inclusion Center, at 160 68th St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548. We will meet in the CCC room. Park and enter on the EAST side of the building and use athletic entrance.

FODHHS Workshops and Socials are for Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing and signers.

Register today for our Fall American Sign Language classes!

Classes are available online and in person. Check Eventbrite for class level and location information.

ASL classes begin the week of September 28. During the 8-week course, you will learn what makes the language unique, including signs, expressions, Deaf culture, and more.

Registration is open now! Go to Deafhhs.Eventbrite.com to find more information on all of the classes available and to register. Community classes start at $125/student. Price increases to $135 one week before classes begin.

Classes fill up quickly, so register today!

Our office will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, to observe the Labor Day holiday. We hope you have a wonderful and safe long weekend!

We will return to our regular hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
Normal hours:
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm

As always, our emergency and after-hours interpreting requests continue to be accepted 24 hours a day using the answering service.

Our 2026 summer Kids Kamp was another fantastic success made possible in part by our sponsors, Meijer and Gentex Corporation.
