That’s a wrap for the 2025-2026 school year! Thank you so much for being in our school family. We hope everyone has an amazing summer and we will welcome our new and returning family members back on Monday, August 24th.

Last week Thursday, our 6th and 7th graders had their final visit to the GR Kroc Center. Scholars have enjoyed visiting throughout the school year to participate in activities such as art, boxing, basketball, soccer, climbing wall, drama, and music. Thank you to all of the staff from UPREP, the Kroc, and Dean for providing this amazing opportunity for scholars.

On Saturday, the Ottawa Hills Track team traveled to the MHSAA Division 1 State Finals and had some outstanding performances.
Dominik Ladomato-Fisher ran on the 4 X 400m Relay and finished 21st out of 34 teams and ran the best time of the season with a different team that qualified.

The girls 4 X 200m relay team that had U Prep athletes of Talia Pearson and Saraya Pearson finished 15th out of 28 teams.
The girls 4 X 100m relay team that had Saraya Pearson finished 7th and medaled.

Freshman Saraya Pearson capped a fantastic season with a 3rd place finish in the 100m Hurdles.

Good luck to our scholars as they will take their final exams Monday-Wednesday this week. Wednesday will be the last day of the school year and it is important scholars turn in all of their materials. If you have any questions, please contact us at 616-819-1010.

Last week our 9th and 10th grade scholars got to show off their final projects from their internship placements. Scholars did a great job showcasing their knowledge and talking about their career interests!
