Saw this at Celebration Cinema little over a week ago...a "Ken Burns" like film on the history of the state of Michigan and how it impacted the young growing nation. Expect it to be on PBS next month, but encourage everyone to hit their website for info to catch on a big screen or on PBS. It was fun to see one of these types of films dedicated to our Great Lakes State!!! Check it out!! (P.S., you may see yours truly at the very end!)

3JUN26, out on the road again with a "Joint" flag recognition program between the American Legion and the Sons of the American Revolution, recognizing businesses/community centers for exhibiting outstanding Citizenship by the display of the UNITED STATES FLAG! First pic on the left below, recognized Belle Tire (Wyoming), the fourth Belle Tire location that has been recognized ... found out today why all of the Belle Tire locations have above average sized flags without any wear and tear ... learned that corporate periodically sends out new flags before any wear and tear is seen....Bravo Zulu to Belle Tire! Second pic on the right, United Bank in Rockford, who was happily surprised by the visit and asked if it could go on their website (which it can). Manager said they just put up a new flag...I said, I noticed!! Need to visit more banks!!!
