We facilitate the physical development of the City by providing an efficient one-stop source for project planning, construction plan review, permitting, and inspection services. The Development Center is staffed by members of the Building Inspections Division, Planning Department, Engineering Department, Water and Sewer Utilities, Environmental Services, Fire Safety, and Traffic Safety. Benefits o

f the one-stop approach include a simplified approval process and improved coordination of staff review efforts. We welcome your comments. Please be advised that the Accela Citizen Access System will be unavailable starting Friday, February 27 at 4:00 PM. The system will remain down through the weekend and is expected to be back online by Monday morning, March 2.

This scheduled downtime is necessary for system updates. During this period, you will not be able to access permitting services through Accela.

City staff will be giving an update on the Community Master Plan implementation and the upcoming update to the Zoning Ordinance. The session will cover what zoning is, how it works, and why it is relevant to you. The afternoon will include a brief presentation, a zoning activity, and time for Q&A.
