We facilitate the physical development of the City of Grand Rapids, Michigan by providing an efficient one-stop source for project planning, construction plan review, GR Vital Streets Program, permitting, and inspection services. The Development Center is staffed by members of the Building Inspections Division, Planning Department, Engineering Department, Water and Sewer Utilities, Environmental Services, Fire Safety, and Traffic Safety. Benefits of the one-stop approach include a simplified approval process and improved coordination of staff review efforts. We welcome your comments.
