Sterkenburg for District Court Judge

We did it! I am excited to announce that the election results are in (though not official yet), and I will be serving as your new Kentwood District Court Judge!

As my first political campaign, running for Kentwood District Court Judge was a big undertaking.

At every step of the way I had amazing supporters, staff, and volunteers to help me get the message of restorative justice out into the community. And most important, I had voters like you that took the important step of casting your vote.

Now the real work begins.

This is my friend Thung. This year, he'll exercise his right to vote for the first time!

Even for those of us born in the US, voting can sometimes be complicated. For those who speak English as a second language and have never voted, it's even more challenging. I encourage those who want to vote but don't know how, to reach out and get the information you need. I am happy to help and I'm sure most of your friends and neighbors are too!
