Excellence. Commitment. Family. These are the words that have described Garner Elementary from the day the doors opened in 1987. Along with expansive retail development of the area south of Interstate 20 came growth and change for these neighborhoods. Garner has focused on growing and changing while meeting the diverse needs of a changing community. In the 2011-2012 school year, our name will change to the Garner Fine Arts Academy. We are excited to bring about this change and include the science of learning through artistic engagement to our students. Our mascot, the All Star, and our school colors red, white, and blue remind us we are bound by a common goal: meeting the needs of all families in our community with respect and a passion for success.
