Orphans of The World Orphans of the World was created in 1985 to help children in El Salvador during their civil war. Medical supplies were just the beginning. We've grown.

We have traveled around the world handing out food, clothes, shoes, wheelchairs, etc. Really, everything a person could need we have handed out by the ton. Food, clothes, and toiletries are just the basics, the beginning. We have worked in countries that have been devastated by war, internal strife, or just haven't caught up to the new age. Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala just to name a few. Ev

eryone deserves a chance to be clean, eat well, and wear clothes fit for the season. No one should freeze, go hungry, or die due to malnutrition, but it happens every day. Whatever we can do to change that, to ease the burden of our fellow man, we will.
