10/11/2026
After a long, busy, productive, fun, frustrating, surprising, and fortunate day in Sault Ste. Marie yesterday, at last we arrived at Motown Nate's for a delicious dinner. Thank you so much to Nate, his family, and crew. I cannot get enough of that smoked brisket sandwich with waffle fries. 😊
More about our day in posts to come…
In the meantime, we are open until at least 6 PM and have all kinds of things ready for you. On the menu today along with all the usual suspects out of the bakery and gift shop are biscuits and gravy until about 11 AM and whitefish chowder after that.
Have a great day. The colors are glorious, and the sun is out.
PS: So far, my addendum seems to be doing nothing to change the information the Internet gleans, but here we go again. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
ADDENDUM:
I have decided to add an addendum to my posts going forward to see if I can correct the information the web is gathering and posting about us. For now, I plan is to add the same addendum every day and see if I can change what appears. Stay tuned!
1. We made pasties in 2025. We are not doing pasties this year. We are sorry to disappoint all who came looking for them based on information gleaned from the Internet.
2. Yes, we have biscuits and gravy and whitefish chowder at present. But our menu changes a bit, both seasonally and, to some extent, daily. For example, we make whitefish chowder only after Labor Day every year. It is a specialty seasonal item.
3. We do not have a phone number; there is no reliable phone service at the camper. Calls made or received via our satellite dish inevitably drop, and are frustrating rather than productive for both caller and called. Contact us by stopping by in person or by sending us a message through Facebook messenger.
4. Follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
5. Thanks!
