🎁 Seasonal Acts of Kindness
Whether it’s Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts, back-to-school events, or special family sponsorships, they bring joy to households that need a little extra love during life’s toughest moments.
Who The Gift of Love Inc serves:
💙Seniors
Our deliver groceries to low-income and homebound seniors.
And also visit nursing homes and assisted-living centers to reduce isolation.
Visiting Seniors Volunteers visit seniors in nursing homes and assisted-living centers to provide companionship and reduce isolation.
💙Low-Income Individuals and Families
Their grocery drop-off program supports people who are struggling financially.
💙Domestic Violence Survivors
We deliver care packages to domestic violence shelters, making sure survivors know they are seen and supported.
💙Military Veterans
The organization includes veterans as one of their target groups for receiving care packages.
💙Foster Care Children
Our explicitly name “foster care children” as a group that benefits from our care packages.
💙Homeless / At-Risk Youth
We support homeless teens.
💙School District 51 Program
Provides weekly snacks, clothes closet, food pantry, school supplies, holiday gifts to students.
💙Grocery Drop-Of Weekly delivery of groceries around Mesa County. 35,000 pounds of food dropped off last year.
💙Care Packages (“Bags of Love”)
Care packages assembled and distributed to those in need (hygiene items, non-perishables, etc.) 7000 care packages delivered last year.
💙Brain injury programs with snacks and art and activity games.
