Last week was a proud moment for Grand River Academy at the Colorado Mesa University Writers’ Conference!

Our high school and blended middle school students had the opportunity to attend and participate, and our GRA students made it unforgettable by sweeping the entire poetry category in the writing competition.

🥈 Julia Nelson – 2nd place
🥉 Grace Jackson – 3rd place

This incredible achievement reflects a year of dedication and growth in Creative Writing Club, and it truly showed in their work. We were also excited to see Ms. Warner and her student participating alongside high school students, proudly representing GRA.

A big thank you to Ms. Smith for her leadership and unwavering support of these talented writers.

Moments like this don’t happen by chance, they’re built through the daily encouragement, challenge, and care from our staff.

Congratulations to Elise Donaldson, our concurrent math student (RMS/GRA), who competed exceptionally well at the State MathCounts competition this weekend at Colorado School of Mines and earned a spot on the Colorado team advancing to Nationals in Orlando, Florida this spring!
