These students are always so engaged and eager to become the best stewards they can be! Thank you Ute Water Conservancy District for another great year!

When it rains, it drains—straight to our rivers.
Stormwater can carry pollutants like oil, fertilizer, pet waste, and bacteria directly into our waterways. Do your part: keep storm drains, gutters, and sidewalks clean and clear to protect our rivers and the wildlife that depend on them.

Summer is here and river recreation is increasing in the Grand Valley! Please be safe and wear a life jacket when on the river. The Save-A-Life Jacket Program has life jacket stations near all local boat ramps to help our community enjoy the water safely. These jackets are free to use, just return them at the take-out when you get out of the water. Also, if you paddle board, please do not use a standard ankle leash. Ankle leashes are made for flat water and are a potential entrapment on the river. You can buy a much safer quick release leash locally from The Gear Junction, Wet Dreams River Supply Grand Junction, or Grand Junction Adventures. Be safe out there!
