A plea to all .... please, please take extra precautions when driving by emergency scene areas! Slow down and pay attention to your surroundings. If you see lights ahead of you, that's your sign to slow down and proceed with caution. We all live in this crazy stressed out world and need to help each other get through it, not add to it. You never know, it might be one of your cherished loved ones that we are helping. Creating another accident only adds to the stress. Besides - if you are in a hurry because you're late, getting into an accident makes you really, really late....for a lot of things! And racks up the medical bills, repair bills and dings your driving record, making your insurance rates even higher. It's not worth it! Thankfully, no lives were lost in this picture, but injuries sustained are serious and life altering. So, please drivers everywhere, be respectful of emergency crews, road crews and others traveling on the roads with you. IT ALL STARTS WITH YOU!
