We had a great time at the Unity in Community Festival yesterday! Thank you to our incredible nonprofit partners who participated; it was so fun to celebrate you! And thank you to our amazing sponsors, Bank of Colorado, Seth Rockey - State Farm Agent, Hilltop Community Resources, Inc., Downtown Grand Junction, and Xcel Energy Colorado for making this event possible. We also had multiple volunteers join us in making this event possible and their help was invaluable to our success; thank you volunteers! To all of our guests who attended- thank you for joining us in this night of unity and fun!

We cannot do the work of improving our community alone, so we are extremely grateful for these valuable partnerships with other nonprofits as we all strive to see Mesa County thrive. Keep your eyes peeled next year as we will hold the Unity in Community Festival once again.

TODAY IS THE DAY! We are so excited for the Unity in Community Festival happening tonight at 5:30 PM. We will have over 25 local nonprofits joining us to showcase the indispensable work they do for Mesa County. We are also offering free balloon animals & face painting, yard games, chalk drawing, and more for the whole family. One of our partners, Harmony Acres Equestrian Center, is graciously bringing some of their animals for guests to enjoy.

We are extremely grateful for our nonprofit community partners who work every day to make Mesa County a brighter place to live. We can't wait for you to learn more about the work they do, celebrate them, and enjoy free activities.

The Unity in Community Festival is happening TOMORROW in Downtown Grand Junction. Come see us off of 5th & Main during Market on Main starting at 5:30 PM. We will have free face painting & balloon animals, animals courtesy of Harmony Acres Equestrian Center, a police car for kids to enjoy, and over 25 non-profit booths sharing about the crucial work they do for Mesa County. Happy International Literacy Day! Here at United Way of Mesa County, we believe childhood literacy is a necessity for a thriving community. We provide 9 book boxes throughout Mesa County through our United Way Book Exchange program. We stock these boxes with free English & Spanish books, encouraging children to grab a book and get reading! If you are interested in sponsoring another book box, please email [email protected].

Unity in Community Festival is THIS Thursday! A big shoutout to one of our sponsors, Downtown Grand Junction, for allowing us to host this event on Main Street in Market on Main. They have been generous in accommodating us over the years and we are proud to work with such a strong community partner!

Come see us this Thursday, September 10th, off of 5th & Main during Market on Main. We will be featuring local nonprofits completing vital work in Mesa County and offering free face painting, balloon animals, and yard games. Harmony Acres Equestrian Center will also be bringing animals you can come engage with and there will be a police car for the kids to enjoy. We can't wait to see you!

The Unity in Community Festival is less than one week away! Thank you to another generous sponsor, Xcel Energy Colorado, for making this event a reality. We appreciate their support not only in this event, but also through donations from their nonprofit partner, Greenlite. Greenlite has donated home energy saving goods we will be handing out at the Unity in Community Festival as we launch our United for Home Savings program. We are also distributing these products to other nonprofits in the community to serve their clients and will be distributing them through our own outreach, as well. Come see us & Xcel at Unity and grab some free products to help you save!
