“The portion of Whitehaven(CR-075) from Grand Island Blvd to Williamsburg Court will have single lane restriction. This restriction will begin June 10th with an anticipated completion date of June 15th, or until complete. This restriction is for the purpose of underground utility work.”

Good morning Grand island, the chipper crew is finishing the North route today and then we’re heading to the South Route.

As a friendly reminder, the Highway Department does not pick up branches from lots being cleared by builders, or private owners, and we do not pick up any branch debris left by tree removal contractors. The portion of Whitehaven from Grand Island Blvd to Williamsburg ct will have a single lane restriction. This month, our team of 15 dedicated employees has made notable progress on several projects. The drainage crew has completed upgrades at the Nike base and moved on to road drainage projects. The hot patch crew has started repairing winter-related water breaks and will proceed with milling and hot patching potholes. The receiver repair crew is rebuilding catch basins and preparing roads for paving. Our mechanics are maintaining the town's fleet. Summer help crews will start Monday, and the chipper will operate daily. Repairs to holes along the shoulders on Staley Road are scheduled for today.
