Grand Haven Charter Township is located along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. This community of approximately 17,000 people is directly south of Grand Haven the Coast Guard City USA. Because of Lake Michigan and the Grand River, GHT is home to beautiful sand dunes (over 1,000 acres are considered critical dunes), and over 3,000 acres of wetlands. The Township provides exceptional recreation

amenities including over 33 miles of pathways, and access to 15 public parks with Hofma Park and Preserve comprised of 566 acres of woodlands, wetlands, nature trails, boardwalks, play equipment, picnic amenities, basketball court, soccer field, and softball field.

Lincoln Street resurfacing work begins Sept. 2 in Grand Haven Twp.

WHEN: Sept. 2-Oct. 1, 2025
WHERE: Lincoln St., U.S. 31 to 144th Ave., Grand Haven Twp.
WHY: Road Resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Beginning Sept. 2, 2025, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission will begin work on a resurfacing project on Lincoln St. between U.S. 31 and 144th Ave. in Grand Haven Twp.
Work is expected to last through early October 2025, however all work is weather-dependent and completion dates are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: Traffic will be maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area while work is taking place.
