Please be advised that GHBLP will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day. We will reopen Tuesday, May 26th resuming our normal Service Center hours of M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you need to pay your electric bill, please visit our website at ghblp.org.

Last week our crews took on the replacement of a critical piece of substation equipment. While this is not routine work, this is important work that needs to be done to maintain the reliability of the distribution system.
BIG shout out to our lineman, operators, technicians, and engineers who all had a part in replacing this critical piece of equipment. 💪⚡️

Today is Linemen Appreciation Day, where we celebrate the dedicated professionals who keep the lights on for our community every single day of the year. When storms hit or outages occur, they work under challenging conditions to restore power quickly and safely.

Our linemen face wind, rain, ice, snow, heat, and long hours to serve our customers—sometimes at a moment's notice, day or night. They also support neighboring utilities when needed, lending their skills and experience wherever they can.

We are extremely grateful for their commitment, bravery, and service. Thank you BLP Linemen!
