Project Update: Lincoln Street at 144th Avenue

The new roundabout at Lincoln Street and 144th Avenue in Robinson Township is expected to be open to traffic by tomorrow morning, provided everything goes as planned.

➡️Until the barricades have been removed, please continue to follow the posted detour and avoid traveling through the intersection until it is open.

Just remember four simple steps:

🚗 Slow down
👀 Look left & yield to traffic already in the roundabout
➡️ Enter when clear
💡 Signal & exit

That’s it! A few simple steps help keep traffic moving safely and smoothly.

It’s time once again for a look at what’s coming up next week on Ottawa County roads!

A few new projects are scheduled to get rolling next week, including:

Resurfacing beginning Monday, Aug. 24:
📍 28th Ave. – Hudsonville city limits to Bauer Rd.
📍 Butternut Dr. – Lakewood Blvd. to Riley St.
Both will have lane closures under flag control.

Road closures beginning Tuesday, Aug. 25:
📍 152nd Ave. – Blair St. to Tyler St. for a culvert replacement
📍 152nd Ave. – James St. to W. Lakewood Blvd. for permitted water main work

Remember to plan ahead, watch for changing traffic patterns, and give crews plenty of room to work safely!

Update: The roundabout at Port Sheldon St. and 120th Ave. is now open to traffic.

📸A look at recent progress made on the 104th Ave. bridge project in Holland Township just north of James Street over Black Creek. Crews recently set precast beams for the bridge, marking another milestone toward project completion.
