Almost 60 years and three generations of the Noel family have dedicated their lives and careers to building this brand.

Unfortunately, large corporations and corrupt politicians have made it nearly impossible for the little guy to compete in this market for labor, suppliers, land, capital, and inventory; and provide a quality level of service at a fair price.

I’m proud to be the grandson of John P. Noel, founder of Grand Valley Marine. His legacy will live on at our Torch Lake location.

I hope to dedicate myself to the community of entrepreneurs building their brands today in order to leave a lasting legacy that they too can be proud of. I am in the fight for equality of opportunity, so that no one will have to see the end of an era gone too soon.

Grand Valley Sport & Marine has announced that after nearly 60 years in business, it is closing its original store on 28th Street.

Polls are now closed! I want to thank everyone that has supported me and my ragtag group of volunteers. This was an experience of a lifetime. I’ve personally met over 4000 people and knocked on over 5000 doors. I look forward to watching the results come in. Thank you all again for the support and kind words of encouragement.

I am proud to announce that I have been endorsed by the Michigan Association of Justice. The Mission of the Michigan Association for Justice is to promote a fair and effective justice system.

I chose to major in Business Law at Arizona State University with a focus on civil rights, accessibility, and equality to be a part of the leadership that creates a diverse and inclusive workforce. Too often, large corporations not only have a significant influence on public policy, but also have incredible resources to prevail in the Courts. These large corporations can both change the law to their interests and cap judgments to be inconsequential to their operations; or hire teams of well-paid corporate lawyers to quash any threat, as a result of wrongdoing, within the justice system. This enables corporations to outright violate the law and discriminate against protected work groups like people with disabilities, women, and minorities.

The Michigan Association of Justice is at the forefront of this on behalf of the working and middle-class of my community by helping to align public policy in a way that enables the average person to prevail against incredible odds within an often rigged system.

I am proud to join them in this fight for equality and justice.
