Mental health matters, no matter where you live. Check in with your friends, family, and neighbors. See how they’re doing and let them know how you’re doing.
That’s what community is for .❤️

When emergencies happen, we're prepared. Learn more about how ND responds to public health emergencies at www.hhs.nd.gov/health/epr.

Emergency preparedness looks different in North Dakota.

We're a state with a large geographic area and a relatively sparse population. That means emergency response can't rely on every community having every resource it might need.

Instead, North Dakota has built a statewide approach to emergency preparedness, bringing communities, healthcare organizations, emergency responders and other partners together so resources and support can reach where they're needed.

It's one way we meet the unique challenges of our state: by working together across the miles.
