A vehicle fire occurred yesterday in the parking lot of Grand Coteau Elementary, requiring the school to be placed on lockdown before dismissal. We commend the faculty and the Sunset Fire Department for their rapid response, which enabled them to extinguish the fire promptly and prevent any harm, with no injuries reported.
