CANCELLATION OF THE REUNION

Due to the fact that just a handful of people have bought tickets to the event, there is no way that Brick Street will commit to offering the space or food. I am working with the ticketing company to generate refunds for those who have purchased tickets, made donations to the event, etc. I appreciate all the work the committee members put into this over the last two years or so. I obviously wasn't the right person for the job.

With the information that has been gathered to this point, perhaps something can be organized for the more typical reunion year of 2025...our 45th.

Disappointed and sorry this didn't come together.

The reunion website issues have been resolved. You may now purchase a ticket for the event using a credit card. There is a slight processing charge which I have accounted for within the cost of the ticket.

I have sent an email to every email we have on our class list telling them about the upcoming reunion. I am so thankful for all the Reunion Committee members who put in lots of work a couple years ago when we were targeting the actually 40th Reunion event. Their diligence in tracking classmates down helped develop a pretty good email list. Special thanks to Angie Lab, who has continued to work that list when she has time. I so appreciate her hard work.

So from here, there are still hundreds of classmates who may or may not have gotten the message about this year's event. I challenge each person reading this post to reach out to anyone that they have contact with from our class and tell them to go to our Reunion page and register with their contact info. Even if they can't make it to this year's gathering, getting their info will be the key to reaching them with future reunions.

I'm still dealing with some challenges with the website as it pertains to paying for tickets to the event. Sending a check is an option, but I hope to get the PayPal link functioning soon, to make payment easier. I'll send out a notice when I am certain it is functioning. I may just set up an account for VENMO.

It is on!! Our 40th Reunion (+ 2 yrs) is going to take place Saturday, August 27 from 6-10 PM at Brick Street in Grand Blanc. Join your fellow Bobcats out on the patio, indoors on the dance floor, in the extensive small plates buffet line, or at the cash bar!

Start the afternoon at the Ally Challenge third round at Warwick Hills, yelling "Get in the hole!" for old times sake. It will just be great to see everyone after so many years, especially the last two Covid years that postponed our event.

Ready, set, hut! After some penalties for illegal motion, the Bobcats are getting closer to a first down.

Working with Brick Street regarding securing their venue for Saturday August 27, as well as finalizing the food selections. Should have things in place very soon and be able to start selling tickets for the 42nd Year Class Reunion. Thanks for hanging in there for 2 years through the...well, you know...that thing!
