Fall is around the corner and that means pumpkins! 🍁🎃 It's the perfect time to paint a Fall Pumpkin Boiuquet! Join us Friday, October 2, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Town of Granby Senior Center to paint a Fall bouquet on a 11 x 14 canvas! (Must be a member of the center. Not a member? It's easy to join!) No art experience required. All supplies included. You'll be guided step by step in this fun class. 🙂 Call the Granby Senior Center at 860-844-5352 to sign up.

Happy National Senior Center Month! 🎉

Did you know?: The first senior center was introduced in New York City in 1943 to provide social activities, nutritious meals, and case management to adults age 60 and older, particularly those with low incomes. More than 80 years later, senior centers are one of the most widely used services by older adults in the community. More than 10,000 centers support millions of older adults from all walks of life as they continue to thrive in their communities.
