We had a great time participating in the Grand Lake Memorial Day Parade and connecting with so many members of our community. 🇺🇸

Great progress has been made in Grand County—and it didn’t happen overnight.

Even in one of the driest and warmest water years on record, we’ve continued moving forward. Through collaboration with Northern Water, we finalized an operational framework at the Bunte Highland Ditch near Granby that is expected to bring an additional 4,500–5,000 acre-feet of water into the Colorado River this year, stored in Lake Granby and released at the County’s request. That’s real, measurable progress for our community and our future.

But initiatives like this don’t happen by accident—and they don’t happen quickly. They take time, relationships, and a deep understanding of complex systems. It takes experience to get up to speed, and even more to deliver results.

That’s why I’m running for re-election.
We’ve built a strong foundation for Grand County—one focused on collaboration, responsible resource management, and long-term planning. Now, it’s about continuing that momentum.

Continuity in governance matters. The work we’ve started is making a difference, and I’m committed to building on it—ensuring we keep moving forward with thoughtful, steady leadership.

On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we hold dear, and their courage will never be forgotten.

We remember not only their service, but the families, friends, and communities who carry their legacy forward. Today is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity as we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

May we live in a way that honors their memory—with respect for our nation, care for one another, and a continued commitment to the values they defended.

We invite you to join us in Grand Lake as we come together for the Memorial Day parade to honor and remember those who gave everything for our freedom.
