This is a reminder that our upcoming youth flag football program still has spots open! Granby Rec is excited to partner with the Middle Park HS Football team this summer to offer a youth flag football program for those going into 2nd - 5th grade!

We will meet for 4 consecutive Tuesdays beginning July 7th. The first two Tuesdays we will do drills and learn fundamentals, the final two Tuesdays we will split up into teams and have scrimmage games.

Ages:
2nd-3rd grade, 5:30-6:30pm
4th-5th Grade, 7:00-8:00pm
(you will register for the grade you will be entering 26-27 school year)

Cost: $40 per participant

Location: Middle Park HS turf practice field

Registration is open for youth soccer through Granby Recreation! We will be offering leagues for kindergarten through 6th grade. You will register for the grade your child will be entering the 26-27 school year.

Ages/Fees:
K-1st Grade - $75
2nd-3rd Grade - $75
4th-6th Grade - $85

Dates:
Practices begin the week of August 17 (4th-6th only) and August 24 (K-3rd), Saturday games take place through the month of September.

We are always in need of volunteer coaches! If you are interested, please reach out to our department.

Granby Rec will be offering pickleball lessons again this summer through instructor Bill Weber!

There will be two separate sessions offered this summer on Tuesdays: June 2nd-June 23rd & July 7th-July 28th.
Beginners meet from 12:30pm-1:30pm
Intermediate meets from 2:00pm-3:00pm
Advanced meets from 11:00am-Noon

Cost is $100 for a full four-week training session. We also offer daily drop ins for $30 (if space allows) We need a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 participants each session.

The Granby Recreation Department and Granby Police Department will be partnering again to bring you our annual Summer Kickoff Party!

This year's kickoff party will take place Thursday, June 18th from 6:30-8:00pm at the Granby Soccer Dome (245 W. Diamond Ave.)

This is a FREE Event open to the public! The PD will grill food and supply drinks, while the rec department will provide music, games, a bounce house, volleyball and dodgeball!

We hope to see you all on June 18th at the Soccer Dome!
