🏆 TINY TROPHY. BIG DEAL! 🏆

We’re kicking off a new staff recognition tradition at Mambrino: “Big Deal Awards”! 🎉

These may be tiny trophies, but the reason behind them is anything but small. ❤️ Each award is peer-nominated, giving our staff the opportunity to recognize colleagues who are going above and beyond, jumping in to help, making a difference, or simply being the kind of teammate who makes our school a better place.

💜 Mrs. Mihalik & Mrs. Gooch — 5th Grade
These two have been incredible additions to our team! They jumped right in and took on the challenge of teaching two STAAR-tested subjects, bringing their experience, dedication, and a willingness to do whatever it takes for their students and our campus.

💜 Mrs. Price — 2nd Grade
Mrs. Price was spotted jumping in during bus duty to help walk our Pre-K students and make sure their line stayed safe. It’s those little moments of noticing where help is needed and simply stepping in that make such a BIG difference!

💜 Mrs. Maynard — Music Teacher
Mrs. Maynard has already brought so much to our Specials team! She’s doing amazing things in her music room, creating wonderful experiences for our students, and proving to be an incredible teammate along the way. 🎶❤️

We are so proud of these four and so grateful for the ways they are making their mark on our campus. Because sometimes the trophy is tiny… but the impact is BIG. 🏆💜

We can’t wait to see who our staff recognizes next! 👀✨

September is here, and we’re kicking off with our first monthly Attendance Challenge! 🎉📚

Every school day is an opportunity to learn something new, connect with friends, build confidence, and be part of our school community. Being present really does make a difference! Research continues to show that attendance is closely connected to student success. Every day counts!!!

❣️We know that life happens… kids get sick, families face unexpected circumstances, and some absences are unavoidable. Our goal isn't perfection; it's helping our students develop the habit of showing up, being engaged, and making the most of every day they can be here. ❣️

Please see the attached graphic for details on what September’s attendance incentives will be! We can’t wait to start the year strong and build positive habits that last! 💜

We kicked off our first Partner PE of the year, and THIS is what Mambrino is all about! ❤️

Partner PE gives our students the opportunity to learn, move, encourage, and build friendships together. There’s something pretty special about watching students cheer each other on, celebrate every success, and make sure everyone has a place to belong.

We’re so excited for another year of Partner PE and all the friendships, confidence, and memories that will grow along the way.

At Mambrino, we don’t just talk about our character traits, we LIVE them! 💙🏴‍☠️

Each week, we’ll be reading staff shoutouts recognizing our amazing team members who are putting our character traits into action. And because great work deserves to be celebrated, each recipient will receive a 🏴‍☠️ Locker Brag Tag!

These brag tags will proudly hang on paper lockers throughout our halls, showing everyone who walks through our doors just how AMAZING our Mambrino staff is! 🙌✨

We cannot wait to see those lockers fill up with evidence of kindness, empathy, excellence, teamwork, and so much more!

One thing we know, character is contagious! 💙🏴‍☠️
