This morning, Visit Granbury awarded The Distinguished Friend of Tourism Award to the Lake Granbury Area Beautification Council.

Tourism is about more than attracting visitors. It’s about creating places people remember — places that feel welcoming, vibrant, cared for, and full of character. We are proud that our efforts have helped contribute to the charm and beauty that draw so many people to Granbury year after year.

It takes a team to keep Granbury beautiful—and this one showed up in a big way.

A huge THANK YOU to Lawn Doctor for volunteering their time, energy, and heart to support the Lake Granbury Beautification projects 🌿

From cleaning up around Brady Fountain and the creek bed to refreshing landscaping at La Roe House and hauling away debris, their team jumped in and got to work—making a visible difference for our entire community.

The Locks of Love sculpture is located next to the LaRoe House on Houston Street across from Shanley Park in historical Granbury, Texas. Purchase a heart shaped lock at Your Private Collection Art Gallery and have it engraved with your initials.
