Great opportunity to help an organization that continuously helps first responders in our community and surrounding communities.

“Proceeds benefit the Chisholm Trail 100 Club’s mission to “Stand in the gap for our First Responders and their families in times of tragedy”.

During 2023 and 2024, the CT100 Club disbursed $110,000 to the families of 6 fallen First Responders in the Club’s service area of Johnson County, Somervell County and Hood County. These monies can never replace these fallen First Responders, but helps the families with immediate financial needs during tragic and difficult circumstances.”

Join the Indian Harbor Volunteer Fire Department this Saturday in Canyon Creek.

Good morning everyone! Chili cook off reminder.. this Saturday the 21st.. Event will begin at 9:00am Bbq plates and hot dog plates will go on sale at 12:00. Bbq plates $5.00 Hot dog plates $3.00 (Sandwich, chips and drink) Bottle water $1 Single hot dog $1 Single sandwich $3 Chili sample bowl $5 Chili sample cups will go on sale at 12:00. You can purchase a bowl and go around to each station preparing chili and taste their chili. Silent auction and raffles will begin at 9am Silent auction you must be present to win. Raffle tickets, you can write your name and telephone number on the back of the ticket and you will not have to be present to win. Bake good sales begin at 9am We have some great raffles this year. Smoker, 36” black stone griddle, egg chair, stone fire pit and much more! We will accept cash, credit card or check. Judging will begin at 3:00pm. Salsa Chili Ribs Brisket After naming the winners we will then draw for raffle winners and then silent auction! It’s going to be a great day! Come and go as you please or spend the day with us! We hope to see you there!
100% of the proceeds will go to the Indian Harbor Volunteer Fire Department!

Today kicks off National Fire Prevention Week 2022. This is a busy week for departments across the nation giving presentations at schools and events all over. To kick it off the Hood County Fire Departments will be having a field day event in the Home Depot Parking Lot.
