Southern California Republican Women & Men (SCRW&M) The Club meets monthly on the fourth Saturday of the month at 11:30am at the Odyssey Restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive, Granada Hills, CA 91344

One of the Oldest Independent Republican Clubs
Southern California Republican Women is one of the oldest independent Republican Clubs in California and Los Angeles County. The Club was founded by political activist and distinguished lecturer Louise Ward Watkins in 1935. The Club now meets monthly on the fourth Saturday of the month at 11:30am, ending at 2:00pm at the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant

at 16320 Raymer St., Van Nuys, California 91406. Lunch is available on a no-host arrangement and guests may order off the restaurant menu. Please RSVP by the Thursday before the meeting. Guests may join the club at annual dues starting at $25. There is no charge to attend the first meeting, but we expect that if guests are going to attend further meetings that they will join the club. Mrs Watkins stated objective was to provide a suitable venue for Republican women to meet and talk about political matters and thereby increase their personal knowledge and general effectiveness in the political process. Though founded in 1935 as a women's organization, the club has been open for membership to both men and women since a bylaw change in 1988 which changed the clubs name to Southern California Republican Women and Men (SCRW&M). The sole requirement for membership is that the applicant must be a registered Republican committed to doing whatever they can to strengthen the Republican Party in Southern California. The Purposes of Southern California Republican Women & Men as contained in the current Bylaws are as follows:

To work to maintain and preserve the Constitution of the United States of America. To promote greater appreciation of our American heritage. To support the Republican Party. To promote a wider knowledge of the principles of our government. to encourage active participation in political affairs on the local, state and national levels. To cooperater with other Republican groups in the election of Republican candidates for office, provided the organizations and candidates have the same objectives as Southern California Republican Women. As an independent club, Southern California Republican Women & Men can and often does make pre-primary endorsements. The Club has, from time to time, made financial contributions to selected candidate's campaigns and frequently does major mailing to help get out the vote for the candidates the Club has endorsed. In the Club's continuing efforts to promote political knowledge and encourage effective participation in all livels of government, the club conducts a Political Forum prior to each luncheon for those who are interested in keeping informed and up to date on current political affairs and compaigns. Each monthly Luncheon features an outstanding guest speaker who provides timely information which is of benefit to concerned voters and citizens of Southern California.

Defeat the Globalist UniParty with a Bottom-up Political Insurgency Guest post by Lawrence Sellin It took twenty years, but after a crushing military defeat, the Taliban re-conquered Afghanistan district by district. Learn from that. The Globalist UniParty may be able to win in rigged U.S. elections...

“Thousand Oaks Police Department, what is your emergency?”
“Armed home invaders are trying to kick down my back door! Send some officers, quick! PLEASE!”
“Excuse me, is this Howard Hyde calling?”
“Yes it is. That’s me.”
“Is it true that you are a Republican, President of the Southern California Republican Women and Men’s club, and a Trump supporter?”
“What? Yes, that’s true, but what does that have to do with —“
“I’m sorry Sir, but this is not MAGA country. We decline service at this time. Have a nice day and don’t forget to turn in your guns to our voluntary buy-back program.”

If you have been putting off attending a meeting of the Southern California Republican Women and Men, of the Republican Women Federated, of your Assembly district central committee or of the LA County Republican Party (LAGOP.org) because what’s the point, we’re hopelessly outnumbered, out-spent and out-gunned and besides, the whole thing is rigged by voter fraud — then you no longer have that excuse.

Two small but significant recent victories give the lie to shallow pessimism and reveal it to be simply a convenient tool of the Democrats, or of the devil, to keep you alienated and uninvolved.

• Measure EE: A $500,000,000 per year property tax boondoggle went down in flames in June. As our own Larry Sand put it, “Perhaps the public has awakened to the fact that the LAUSD is being run by Keystone Kops wannabees.”

• Republican John Lee has been elected to represent the North West San Fernando Valley (where SCRW&M meets) in City Hall, a.k.a. Los Angeles City Council District 12.

These campaigns were not won by Artificial Intelligence technology, legal maneuvering, big-money donor engagement, elite leadership or massive media campaigns (and neither were they lost due to voter fraud or demographic subterfuge). Rather, they were won the old-fashioned way, block by block, neighbor talking to neighbor, by grassroots activists and volunteers who took the leap of faith to make the sacrifice of their time, talent and treasure, personally contacting voters by walking precincts and making phone calls.

It made all the difference in the world. I know of one case in particular where a low-information voter was dead-set against our candidate, but was convinced to vote for him when presented with the big picture, in particular the (progressive socialist environmentalist) alternative.

We can build upon these victories to win Los Angeles and California back by doing the same thing in every single district and campaign henceforth: GET INVOLVED. Sí, ¡se puede! It can be done. Wir schaffen dass, We can do this, and this is the way it will be done.

We are getting some wind at our backs. With your involvement it can become a gale, then a hurricane.

The Democratic candidates for President are making fools of themselves with their Trump Derangement Syndrome, fake identity politics and their cosmic indignation at some abstract concept of social injustice at the same time that the blood-streamed streets of Chicago and the excrement-caked streets of San Francisco shout to the world their inability to govern a civilized society. All the while they insist that the problem is that we won’t give up more of our rights, our freedoms, our money, our speech, our “privileges” and our ability to defend ourselves against the violent thugs that they are depositing en masse onto our streets.

Democrats rail against “concentration camps” at the border while US Citizens and disabled vets are sleeping on the streets in Democratic districts. The “Squad” — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Presley — have taken the mask off of the anti-Semitic and anti-American agenda of the left.

Democrats have for generations now been running plantations for their mascots; the poor, minorities, women, g**s and transgenders whom they PRETEND to care about, but whom are nowhere more miserable and wretched than in the cities that Democrats having been running as one-party dictatorships; plantations from which escape, or attempted escape, is severely punished. Many of these captives now want out, and more and more are finding the courage to escape.

Increasing numbers of Hillary 2016 voters are waking up to the lies of the radicals who have obliterated the once honorable and patriotic liberal party of JFK, and are joining the ascendant and movements. Trump is polling 28% approval among black Americans and 50% among Hispanics — unheard of. Attendance and participation is up, way up, at Republican clubs and assembly district central committees.

Be a part of it. Come to our next meeting and bring three friends eager to come out of the lonely closet with you.

What on earth is a Democratic washing machine? Is it a metaphor? Is it to say the Democrats and their social justice cadres are washing away our history and traditions and culture? Is it conjuring the image of Democrat machine politics, selectively laundering corruption into barely
