Congratulations to Brother Elijah Neal (Spr. '24)!

On behalf of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., we would like to announce one of our January, Undergraduate Brothers of the Month. Elijah Neal has left a powerful mark on Grambling State University through his leadership, advocacy, and commitment to student empowerment. As President of Grambling’s NAACP chapter, Vice Polemarch of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and President of G-Squad, he has been at the forefront of voter engagement, civil rights, and school spirit.

Beyond leadership roles, Elijah founded Prince to King, a male leadership program dedicated to providing second chances for students facing challenges. His impact earned him Grambling’s first-ever Trailblazer of the Year award and national recognition at the NASAP HBCU Student Leadership Conference.

As founder of Changing the Narrative Movement, Elijah is committed to inspiring individuals to see beyond stereotypes and create lasting change in urban communities. His dedication to justice, mentorship, and student advocacy continues to shape Grambling and beyond.

Congratulations to Brother Willis!

On behalf of the Grand Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., we would like to announce our June, Undergraduate Brother of the Month, Nyic’Quavayion Willis. This award was created to showcase the excellence in achievement and service of our Undergraduate brothers across the country.

This month’s recipient, Brother Nyic’Quavayion Willis is a first-generation college student attending Grambling State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He has maintained a 4.0 GPA and has consistently made the president’s list every semester. He is actively involved in several organizations, including West Coast Connections, NAACP, and Student Advocates. Over the summer, he has been interning with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Brother Willis serves as the Keeper of Records for the Grambling State University Chapter The Gamma Psi of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and is also the Chief of the HBCU Promise. He aspires to become a Community Activist, advocating for social justice and equality for those in need. Brother Willis lives his life dominating his purpose and giving glory to God, hoping to allow his story to be the beacon of light to those who look for inspiration to strive for new heights.
